Security Audit
Security encompasses multiple functional areas including internal and external access to resources, vulnerabilities associated with Internet threats, hacking, virus attacks, operating systems, business software, hardware appliances and disaster recovery. Each aspect must be reviewed with plans developed to address existing issues, while at the same time providing our clients' an underlying approach to plan for and mitigate future security concerns.

At NetEnrich, we've created a structured, proven methodology to assess network vulnerabilities. This phased approach includes discovery, data collection and analysis. It is designed to expose external and internal vulnerabilities as well as potential disaster recovery risks. This information is then re-analyzed and published, providing our clients with a robust baseline of existing vulnerabilities, a plan for remediation and effective starting point for continued monitoring and testing.

Network Audit
Developing a strong relationship with our clients often begins with an in-depth analysis of the existing situation. To accomplish this, NetEnrich typically conducts a network audit. This assessment provides the baseline understanding of the network environment as well as the client specific, "hands-on" familiarity required to develop and propose plans for upcoming maintenance and projects.

A typical network audit includes a review the following:
  • The current LAN environment
  • WAN methodologies and remote access strategies
  • Messaging platforms, access and back up methodologies
  • Protocols used on the network and network addressing schema or strategy
  • Server profiles
  • Network services such as DHCP, WINS & DNS
  • Current network administration model, policies and procedures
  • Backup and disaster recovery strategies
  • Security policies and procedures
  • Switches, hubs & routers
  • Internet connectivity, including security configuration

A network audit results in a document deliverable outlining the following:
  • Summary review of the existing IT environment
  • Recommended maintenance regimen for existing equipment
  • Short and long term recommendations for changes to the IT environment
  • Software and engineering estimates necessary for related changes
